Children here at Bethany have a place to call their own! KidZone is a place of both excitement and learning, as children from birth through 5th grade gather each week to learn the Word of God and how it applies to their life. Pastor Danielle Davidson leads our team of dedicated volunteers who love God and love working with kids.
KIDZONE Children’s Ministry
During all of our services, at all campuses, we have two nurseries staffed with our trained caregivers who provide special care for our young ones. One nursery is for kids from birth through walking, and another is for our walkers up to two-year-olds.
It’s just what the name says – a church for kids! During our Sunday 10:45 AM service (all campuses), we provide a high energy, action-packed kids service for all those in K-5th grades. Kids can’t wait to arrive as multimedia productions, high-tech effects, puppets, and Nickelodeon type activities help them discover that church is an exciting place to be.
Kids’ Small Groups
At 9:30 AM on Sundays (all campuses) and 7:00 PM on Wednesday nights (Wyckoff), we provide activities for all children from preschool up through 5th grade through our small groups. By providing for them their own age-appropriate environments, kids get to see how God’s word fits into their lives, to learn how to talk to Him, and how to build friendships that can last a lifetime.
Junior Bible Quiz
Especially designed for kids in 1st-6th grades, JBQ offers a fun, exciting way for kids to understand the all-important truths that are found in God’s Word. The group works together as a team and then through cooperative competition, the children meet teams from other churches for quiz-show style matches.
BGMC – Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge
BGMC is our missions program for children. Through their offerings each month, boys and girls have been able to help support missionaries with all kinds of equipment and supplies both here at home and abroad. But BGMC is more than just a giving program. It helps kids develop a heart of caring and compassion as they learn about the diverse people and cultures in the world, and that through both their giving and their prayers, they can make a difference!
