Children here at Bethany have a place to call their own! BCKids is a place of both excitement and learning, as children from birth through 5th grade gather each week to learn the Word of God and how it applies to their life.
Our desire at BCKids is that all children, from birth to 5th grade, learn who Jesus is and grow in relationship with Him. We prioritize the following four values:
We value cleanliness by maintaining BCKids’ spaces to ensure healthy environments for our children.
We value safety by screening all volunteers, wearing check-in tag, and providing check-in/ check-out to ensure security within all our environments.
We value fun by including age-appropriate activities, games, and projects to engage our kids fully.
We value God-centered enviroments by facilitating prayer, learning about Jesus, and inviting kids to make Jesus their forever friend.
During all Sunday services, BC MDWK, and any special services we provide age-appropriate
rooms for children from birth to 5th grade with curriculum designed for each age group.
BCKids is broken down into the following environments:
Nursery / Parent's Lounge
Ages 0-12 months. The nursery and parent's lounge provide supervised playtime and caring volunteers ready to engage infants at their level of activity
Ages 12-24 months. The toddler room provides supervised play time, Bible stories, worship songs, and caring volunteers ready to engage toddlers at their level of activity.
Ages 2-3 years old. In an environment similar to the toddler room, our preschoolers are engaged through a variety of activities led by energetic volunteers excited to oversee children at this stage.
Ages 4-5 years old (not in kindergarten). Pre-School 2 is a structured environment where children learn about Jesus through story time, interactive lessons, small groups, and prayer.
Elementary (K-5th Grade)
Kindergarten through 5th grade. Elementary-age children participate in a worship experience that is tailored to their development. Components include games, drama, prayer, videos, Bible lessons, Scripture memorization, and team building.
