In Part 3, "Alive" of our "In Christ" series, we see that Paul is still in a Roman prison. Still chained to a guard. Still writing to a church he loves but cannot visit. And the church he is writing to has every reason to feel hopeless. Their pastor is locked up. The culture around them is hostile. The pressure is real.
You would expect a letter that says, “here is how to survive what you are facing but instead Paul writes, “let me tell you what is already true about you.” You were dead...But God!
