In Christ, Part 8  - "New,” teaches that life in Christ means leaving behind our old way of thinking and living and embracing a new nature shaped by the Holy Spirit. Paul presents three practical ways to live this new life: Think New by allowing the Spirit to renew our minds and replace old lies with God’s truth; Live New by rejecting behaviors such as lying, uncontrolled anger, stealing, destructive speech, and bitterness while choosing honesty, hard work, generosity, and words that build others up; and Love New by letting go of bitterness, anger, resentment, and unforgiveness and instead choosing kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. The central challenge is to identify where the old life is still showing up, take off the old ways, and put on the new nature so that our thoughts, actions, and relationships increasingly reflect Jesus.
